June 11, 2001, my daughter, Jennifer, gave birth to a beautiful son, Trey Andrew Reynolds at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, Florida. Trey was my first grandson. I was in the delivery room when he was born. He was perfect!
Time and circumstances have a way of flowing along, sometimes not as we planned, by it moves forward, nevertheless. I’m sure Jennifer would be so very proud of her only child today, on his 16th birthday. She loved her beautiful son.
Trey, As for your maternal side of the family, we long to see your face and hug you tight. Unfortunately, eight long years have slipped away, without our family seeing or talking to you. This was not our choice, but your dad’s, to disconnect you from your loving maternal family, after the death of your mother.
Today, we want to wish Trey, our dearly beloved firstborn, grandson, a very “Happy 16th Birthday” and send you all of our love. You have been in Grandma’s & Pop-Pop’s prayers for all of these years. You have also been in the prayers of your Uncle Nate, Aunt Sarah, Uncle Josh and your other extended family members.
I look forward to the day when you call me and I can hear your voice and all about your growing up years. I know you are a Sophomore in high school in Hillsborough County, Florida. I would love to learn of your aspirations and attend your high school graduation!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TREY!!
You are not forgotten. I hold you in my heart, until we meet again.
