September 21, 2018 **"The Jennifer Act" is coming to a close ** The Jennifer Act (Legislation, Substance Prevention & Education) has been in operation for 9 1/2 years! I took a look back at the first blog posts and through the years. What an awesome journey of grief, sorrow, ups & downs, traveling, lobbying, victories, defeats, helping, shedding tears & prayers with families in crisis, working with and meeting state lawmakers & governors, congressmen, legislative assistants, coalition groups, schools, churches, pastors, teachers and students! Jennifer's life has blessed many people and still impacts lives today. I encourage everyone to pray and do what (ministry) your heart leads you to do. Your passion (and brokenness) will bless/encourage someone. God has a plan. - As "The Jennifer Act" "mission" comes to a close Oct.1st. My website (www.thejenniferact.com) will remain active with helpful resources. A big "thank you" to my son, Nate Blair ,who has faithfully helped me design and maintain the website in memory of his sister, Jen. I appreciate all of the hours you have put into graphic design work on the posters, flyers, postcards, book markers, pledges and wrist bands that I have handed out to many families and students.
